Has a luncheon or dinner club stated for Pitts yet?

I'm all excited. My wife is going to let me go to Pittsburgh and buy coins!! Probably come in Thursday (Cam's recommendation) and leave Friday.

Anybody thinking about getting together yet? image

    There was some talk earlier about some restaurants in the area but no plans have firmed up yet. I'm pretty sure I'll be there
    Tuesday afternoon & leaving Wednesday after dinner.

    Send Ksteelheader (Ken) a shout. He wants to get a bunch of people to go to the Church Brew or something like that. The PCGS Registry lunch is on Friday. I'm up for anything Friday night or Saturday.

    ksteelheader was thinking about a Friday, possibly Saturday, dinner get-together for forum members.

    If anyone wants to get together on a different night as well (or if Friday doesn't fit in with your plans), we can come up with something. I'm in Pittsburgh so I'll be there all week.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    I'm going to have the wife get hold of The Church Brewworks tomorrow to see about making reservations for a large group and will post when I have definite answers. The plan is for Friday night there.
