Anyone know the odds of the 1998 FB Playoff Absolute, Momentum, Prestige GOLD cards #/25

I remember these being very popular at card shows back in 98, everyone was busting em up for the gold cards. Just wandering if anyone knows the odds of getting a Gold card or has experience opening these boxes.

I am thinking of buying a few boxes in search of the Moss or Manning Gold/25. The cost of boxes are alot more reasonable now.

Let me know if you have any info.

I opened 8 boxes of Prestige in 1998 and got 0 gold cards. They are a tough pull. I did hit a Marino auto though...

I pulled a Barry Sanders Gold /25 from the Momentum back in 98. I can't recall the exact ratio; but I think it was either 1:250 packs or 1:750 packs. I'm thinking the latter if only 25 sets made and you could get a common. When I pulled that card; at the time it booked for $700 and perfect. I sent it express to PSA and got a 10. Dave & Adams card world won it off me for under $200 off Ebay. It sucked, but I made a little money off it. Only bought 5 packs. That's when I was new to Ebay and I didn't have a scanner. Oh well.
