A NEW BUFFALO NICKEL?

I caught part of a story today on National Public Radio's (NPR) Morning Edition that there was proposed legislation to be introduced today for a new Bison nickel. Did anyone else catch that story? CNN.com, Reuters, Foxnews... (and the mint).... none of them have anything on it...

Anyone?..... Bueller.... Anyone???

Probably because attempts to change the nickel in the past have been stonewalled by Virginia lawmakers. Nothing like the politics of dead presidents and favorite sons...

Can't we just throw Virginia out of the Union? We do have some territories to replace it...

As I recall, they tried to leave voluntarily once, and we wouldn't allow it. I guess this is their revenge for the fact that the Union didn't allow them to secede!
