Marino Autograph????

While I am no expert I have a Marino Autograph obtained in person his rookie year. I have also "seen" quite a few other MArino autographs. This does not "look" like a Marino auto. Yes I know that autos vary but it just "looks" wrong. Ebay Marino

Is it just me?

  • How dare you question anything that is in a PSA/DNA holder? You got some nerve! LOL.

I met Marino in person about 2 years ago to sign my quarterback football, and I watched him sign several autographs. I am a bit torn on this one. It does look like his, but I just think that maybe because of the limited width of the card, he had to condense his auto, making it appear a bit different.

Normally, he likes to scribble it out pretty long with a bigger "D". Anything is possible, but I would think that this auto only looks a bit different because of the small writing space he had. That's what I think.

7 MVP awards, the single season HR record, career walks record, single season walks record, 700HR/500SB, and two batting titles near 40 years old. How can one argue that those aren't stats of the greatest to ever play the game??? All this and there is still more to come!!!! Bonds:2005 NL MVP. Or are you going to doubt him again?

I was thinking that also. (width of the card) But some of the auto'd cards (UD etc.) do not have that "problem".
