why are most of the 1968 and 68 d pennies look like theve been stuck 5 or 6 times to the point the date kinda looks blurry. ?

are pennies worth more down teh road cause of their copper content( pre 82s) that its worth holding?

what lincoln memorial coisn shoudl i be lookign for besides the 95 DDO and all

They are not "pennies" and you REALLY NEED TO PROOF READ (ie; check spelling) your post before posting.image

i think 68's look like crap because the master hub/die that was used had been in use for many, many years and was all wored out. Lincoln guys could probably elaborate more.

So what law says errors and ignorance must be perpetuated? Or are you saying that we must continue doing things wrong for reasons of tradition? image

Look for the early 70's "S" mint pennies

The 73s is very hard to find nice, even right out of the bag or roll they really suck.

Plus there are a lot of double dies in the early 70's, not just the 72

That's about all there is to it. By 1968 the master obverse hub was well past worn out. The legends had merged into the rim and Lincoln had lost much detail. A new one was used in 1969.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
