2004 SIilver proof sets--$6 price hike!

It is amazing that the U.S. mint thinks that a new nickel is worth 6 bucks extra. Geesh!! It's not even silver for that matter! I guess I will have to rethink how many I will order. My guess is 3 or 2 now. How about you guys?

-Oh and wouldn't it be cool if the nickels were made of silver for a least a few years (silver proof sets only, of course)
-A silver sac would be cool too. Better than that aweful brownish-gold it turns into.

July 22 brings with it (in case you missed the headline) the 2004 11-coin silver proof set. As announced in March, the price for this year’s set will increase $6 to $37.95.

I'll buy my one or two sets like I do every year.
