I saw a lady with a chain around her neck and on it was a McKinley commem gold dollar (pretty worn by this time).
I wanted to grab it from her, but didn't want to get slapped, how could someonedo that to such a cool commem?

Oh, suck it up! If you get slapped enough, you become immune. That's why I have no fear when I speak to some of my female friends
But I used the non solder frame. I might have to switch it out for a 2004 model some day when she isn't home.
I also made a bigger $1995W $10 pendant too.
Who would have thought they'd be worth something today.
That lady's McKinley pendant is probably a heirloom handed down a few generations.
You should have commented her about how nice it is, and get it's story. It might have had a nice story to it.
Heck you might have been able to buy it.
I got myself a nice $20 gold double eagle that way once. it was in a nin solder frame and was basically "almost never worn"
so it was still mint state and slabbable.

So just how many times HAVE you been slapped?
Sounds like my older brothers theory on getting a girlfriend and then married. Just walk up to women and ask if they will marry you, on the theory that 1 in 10,000 will say yes. We asked him why we had ths image of him laying in the street with his fae all red an swollen from being slapped 9,999 times.
