Got this 1962 Franklin Proof in a Heritage auction resently. He was housed in an old Wayte Raymond album along with 49 other coins. Paid less than $90 for the bunch. Anyway, was really surprised at how nice Ben looked. I'll most likely submit him for grade (the Rossie and Washington too) and add him to my Franklin Proof Registry Set. Just thought I'd share...my wife could care less.

Hi Lucy,
Yep, around $90 and all are Wayte Raymond toned. Really cool and a good bargain. Once I get others scan I'll through em up on the board. Got 4 1961-P and D Frankies out of it and each with toning. Although not as nice as the 1962 proof above.

Lucy;
For the ignorant, mainly me, please explain "Wayte Raymond toned." I'm lost!

I'm feeling alot of love in the room!
There is a forum member named 2labmom who loves her labs so perhaps that is the confusion?
Wayte Raymond toning is toning caused by storing coins in Wayte Raymond brand cardboard holders for many years. I bought some used ones and have some proof Jefferson nickels sitting there now. I'll check them in a few years...

Carl,
I know 2labmom, Beth. I'm just pulling his chain.
Frank,
So nice to have you back. And, thanks.
