Were these the free submissions for joining the collectors club?

were these submitted from the collector's club you "join" for $99 and get 4 "free" submissions?

that's good if they were free, because the coins submitted and grades received don't seem worth "slabbing"

For a minute there, I thought the submissions cost $24.75 each, plus shipping both ways.
    that's why I was confused.

Why is there a coin in good with the RB designation?

Yep, they were my "free" submissions. These were raw coins I got at a coin show for cheap. Since I'm still new, didn't want to spend a lot of money on expensive raw coins til I have an idea of how good my eye is. They graded close to what I thought, though a bit higher on the nickel and dime.

The 1864 IHC I figured I'd just toss in since it had a rotated reverse. Thought maybe that might "improve" it some. image

What grade were you expecting on the 1863 cent?

You got an Indian Cent in G-04RB????? Now that would be a pop 1 coin. I would love to see the insert on that.

I just looked it up, it really is a G04RB. Now that is cool!! That would go for some money on eBay. That alone makes it cool.

I was thinking the 1863 was around a 35-40. Guess i didn't look close enough at it.

I'll try to scan the 1864 when I get the coins back. Wow, you mean I actually made a pop 1 with my first submission? image

I didn't think it would grade high at all, just more or less wanted it slabbed with verification (which they probably didn't do) of the rotated reverse. I was wondering when I submitted it how many other people would have submitted such a cheap coin! image
