7 bids and its up to only 2 bucks! Sounds like this info isn't worth squat.

  • Yeah, you could buy a box off Ebay and search it. What if that was already done? I agree that this could fall into the category of pack searching, but if you had this info with about 8 cello boxes in front of you, why would anyone want to buy any packs but the ones that had a Bonds RC? Why waste your money? It's not our fault that Fleer and most companies from that era had their cards sequenced the way they did. It really was too easy.

That's like saying that you were certain which of the 3 boxes in a case of Exquiste had the $$$ card, but you still opened all 3? I'm a pretty honest guy, but why would I want to waste $1,000 on the other 2 boxes, if I was certain that there would more than likely be junk?

7 MVP awards, the single season HR record, career walks record, single season walks record, 700HR/500SB, and two batting titles near 40 years old. How can one argue that those aren't stats of the greatest to ever play the game??? All this and there is still more to come!!!! Bonds:2005 NL MVP. Or are you going to doubt him again?

"PULLING CARDS FROM UNOPNENED PACKS GIVES YOU THE BEST CHANCE OF GETTING A GEM MINT 10"

Uh, wouldn't actually BUYING A GEM MINT 10 give you the best chance of getting one?

Big deal............already knew that back in '87.

The guy could make boatloads more money buy writing/hosting items on some Home Shopping Network. What a waste of time and keystrokes.

Has anyone actually seen a dealer at a show lately with '87 Fleer cello packs?
The scarcity of those packs makes this information of low value.

Didn't everyone already know that he falls 2 cards behind Will Clark? This is true in Cello and wax. Big deal. And no, I haven't seen any 87 Fleer cello in a LONG LONG time.

Neither have I. Mostly, I see wax boxes that have been picked through (or so it looks). I would love to buy a few unsearched wax boxes of this, or 1989 UD, but it seems like both years are tainted by easily searchable box and card sequences. Since you can't buy a sealed box, what do you have to do...buy sealed cases only?

The cellos are dried up. What's left probably went for pack grading. Even if the info is correct; what are the chances a dealer would let you go thru his cello box (if anyone had any) and let you cherry pick for that "one". I'm surprised he didn't do a dutch auction. It's at $4.01 now with 10 bids. I remember back in 98 with a similar style auction for McGwire cellos sequence. Some guy had quantity of 1000 for dutch and at $2.99 for the info. "Also, why wait till the auction is over. You can paypal me and I'll just email you the info". I think he did pretty well during the homerun chase with Sosa that year; but it's still BS.

Probably found the cherry-picking info free on the Internet. That's something HE doesn't want you to know. image
