Camerons' 1878/8 Quarter on Ebay

I discovered this variety sometime in the 1990's, and had an article published in Volume 23, Issue #68 of the Gobrecht Journal in March of 1997.
There is a closeup picture of the repunched 8 in the Journal article.
I don't know the rarity of this variety, but I believe it to be somewhat scarce.

You did ok. Varieties don't always bring the premiums' their rariety suggest they should.
You did get more than the $65 you had for a BIN at the auction start.
