I don't know whether pasting this into a message will result in anything readable, but I was wondering if anyone else received a "Verify Ebay ID" message?
The message directs one to a link to secure-ebay.com/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.php
Seems funky, also says failure to do this "MAY" result in suspension of your ebay account.

they target all the big companies, notjust Ebay.
They have to move around from server to server staying ahead of the police, etc.
Never ever use the email links from any email, you can't tell it's it's legit or not.
Close down all browser sessions and go to the proper website yourself with a new browser session.
Keep your anti-virus and anti-popup and anti-spyware software updated and run them often.
There may be fake "You have won and auction. . ." emails out there. Especially on the big ticket items.
ebay will always address you by name, and also ask you to login via normal channels

I received this email last week and forwarded it on to spoof@eBay.com for verification. I knew the email was a fake because just two days before I received this email, I had signed up for the ID Verify service on eBay and it cost me $5.00 - instead of being free as the bogus email incorrectly stated.
