lol.. when i was in high school, there was some dudes that went to another school on our side of town, and they all drove around in lowriders and they called themselves "smoov ridz".. the back windows of all their trucks were emblazened with "SMOOV RIDZ" (interpreted=Smooth Rides)..

coincidentally, these are also the culprits that eventually led to my expulsion from high school during my senior year.. .. too long of a story that im not really proud of.. i'll just say my circle of friends and their circle of friends didnt get along..

On the subject of "Streetzballa" though, i watched ESPN's "Streetball" tonight for the 1st time.. i liked it.. entertaining as hell, if you ask me..

unfortunately, i didnt pack heat on a regular basis back then, otherwise the temptation might've gotten the best of me..

it reached its climax because one of my buddies (James Fredrickson shout out) was doing one of the "SmoovRidz" girls, and they decided to show up at MY high school as school was letting out, to kick my buddies ass.. as luck would have it, James was absent on that particular day, so they decided they were going to kick my ass instead.. like a gigantic traffic "snake" or something, approximately 12 low riders, each crammed with up to 6 "SmoovRiderz" came rollin' up on campus.. their timing wasnt very good.. like i said, they showed up AFTER school, which meant any of us involved in athletics were already in the weight room building, getting ready for practice.. with a vast supply of curl bars to beat somebody with.. so it didnt take much to rally me & my buddies into walking out to the parking lot to brawl.. even our Vo-Tech teacher Mr. Taylor was out there with a tire-tool.. lol.. it escalated into a big brawl.. police were called.. i went home and didnt say anything to my mom, but i found out the principal had already called her and told her "it was best" that i not return to the school.. the school faculty was under the impression *I* was the main instigator or something.. bahh..
