As I remember it, during these years, the mint was terrible at taking care of the proofs. It was pretty common to get fingerprinted coins in the proof holders or worse. The bummer about a proof is it is easy to see the thumbprint, but on other coins it takes a while for the printto come out. I have some old proof sets with prints on them, and only someone at the mint could have put it there.
Didn't somebody say a while back that they were going to start up "fullmooncoins" and sell things like "unsearched 1944 Wheat Cents" as a joke to bluemoon? There was something about having that picture of themselves reading a book that was upside down too...
Its nice to see they are a National Joke. Certainly the reputation is not stellar here in the NorthWest or other places they have departed. So I have been told....
It gets a bit worse than that. I accidentally bid on a couple of their auctions a few weeks ago (I was in a buying frenzy so I didn't look at the seller's name so much). When I paused to regroup, I noticed that I had bid on some auctions offered by Bluemooncoins.
Now, wouldn't you think that by being such a "good" customer of Bluemooncoins, that neversun would have at least received ONE feedback from Bluemooncoins for customer loyalty - at the very least. Hmmmm.............. Feedback profile of neversun
You can draw your own conclusions, but this is classic shill bidding - done by VERY stupid (not6 to mention dishonest) people (didn't cover their tracks very well).
