Teletrade and their "rainbow" designation

It's kind of like grade inflation... if you want buyers to take you're opinion seriously, you shouldnt over use a designation. For instance... do you think this constitutes a rainbow?

I go searching through teletrade's coins with some frequency. I've gotten to where I dont even look if they have "rainbow" b/c it's generally a coin with ugly toning on it... and maybe a tinge of color somewhere. Not what I'd concider rainbow.

Anybody agree/disagree?

I definitely agree. I am always amazed as to the different colors that coinage can take on. I have always browsed the rainbow designation just to see the coins, but often felt that they are not toned (at least what I would call not toned) at all. I always wondered if it was bad photography? Glad to hear I'm not alone.

I have never seen a true Rainbow Toned coin in Teletrades auctions.
