Anybody know the scoop on this variety...is it a major variety...which one is worth more...etc.

BTW, there's also a 1936 proof with an almost missing AW. Irrelevant, but interesting.

He does. However, my impression is that something more like 10% lack the initials, but I can't honestly say that I've been paying close attention for long. Can anyone else further enlighten us?
