Griffey on DL with Torn Hammy

Looks like Griffey's health problems continue. He just learned he tore his hamstring and is on the DL. He's going to miss the All-Star game and probably a month or more of the regular season. It's a real shame. He was just starting to return to form.

I picked up a 5 ct. PSA 9 lot of each of his RC's to include the UD for 98$ - thought it was a bargain be4 the season was starting - now? Don't give up but then again, I agree with Koby - tear? 15 day DL is very, very, very optimistic.

I shoulda known something was up when it took him a month to hit #501.

He is one of the good guys and his smile lights up a stadium, unfortunateyl his grimace from each of his hammy injuries darkens my collection. I'll hang on to the rc's but was hoping to flip the psa 9 and pick up a couple 10's in their place..oh well.

don't give up on Jr. yet. remember, he's still only 34 or 35. give him 3 more healthy seasons, and he's looking at 600+ hr's
