This is a interesting auction

While browsing Ebay I ran across this interesting auction.
Why in the heck would anyone make it as a private auction?
The seller has 100% feedback too. Nothing reallywrog with the auction either. other than the fact the seller could wind up paying 37cents for a 1 cent coin.

If the auction goes a 1 cent, would the ebay fees be 1 cent in this case?

Well, with 8 feedback @ 100%, he/she's probably "Fattening up the pig for the kill." When they reach 3 digits at 100%, that's when the real bait material hits the auction block.image
What is money, in reality, but dirty pieces of paper and metal upon which privilege is stamped?
  • almost sounds like he's buying and selling "Feedback"

Yep. A bunch of cheap stuff with free shipping. Classic feedback padding scenario.

  • Thanks for the thoughts, I hadn't thought of it that way.
Yes your right, a great way to build up shill bidders and scam artist feedback without costing a lot.
Plus keeping the auctions private means no one knows who they are.
