Comes back with something like, Uncirculated means JUST THAT! This coin was struck with a proof finish and has never been in curculation!

I don't really see anything really wrong with this auction. If I remember right the mint did sell both uncirculated and proof's.
The seller amended his original entry with this.
This coin is in uncirculated proof condition. The word "uncirculated" means exactly what it says, the coin has not been in circulation, and proof coins are specially produced to a much higher standard of finish.

good that the seller added that its a proof coin, as the uncirculated has about an $80 premium. i'd give him the benefit of the doubt in this case.
