Another ebay funny

Nothing specific, but I was noticing something the made me smile tonight. Whenever you are checking a deadbeat seller's feedback, look at all the rage expressed in 80 characters or less. Here's an example:

Charged $55 shipping, cost him $21, wrong club sent, no refund/response AVOID!!
Reply byxxxxxxxxx: I reported eBay. You wrote a wrong information here...
Follow-up by xxxxxxxx: No, I did Square Trade 1st, I've got all emails/receipts, still no club! THIEF!!

or

Thank you eBay for having a poor buyer protection plan!

Nvr got wdn't give trking #FRAUD CHARGES FILED no email response I HAVE PROOF
Follow-up by xxxxxxxx: COMPLETE AND TOTAL THIEF LOOSER TO THE CORE I HOPE YOU ROT IN PRISON !!!!!!!!

Anybody else find anything good?

It's odd when the feedback is unhappy statements -- "Set not NM-MT as claimed, many cards lower, no-return policy" -- but yet they chose the + sign to characterize the experience. Then you realize they wanted to get their point across without provoking a retaliatory neg.

I got a real kick out of a guy who left me a neg saying something like "charger $7.50 to ship 6 cards when it cost him $2.50" I posted a reply to of something like this "Shipping prices were clearly stated, and he never asked for a break" He posted another follow-up saying "shipping prices were NOT stated, THIEF"

first off, the shipping prices were clearly stated, and it pisses me off that ebay won't remove that feeback reply. right now anyone can easily go into the auction and see that the guy was just flat lying his a$$ off, but in a few more months when the auction isn't viewable anymore, most would believe him i suppose.

The other thing is this: People don't understand that when you ship something, not only is there the postage (which in this case I sent UPS, so I have no idea where he came up with $2.50) but it is shipping AND handling. Sellers also have to pay for boxes, which aren't as cheap as many people might think. not to mention toploaders, sleeves, labels...

But this is was really ticked me off about the guy who left that neg... when the 6 auctions ended, he never asked for a shipping break better than the one that I use as a standard, and then, after receiving his cards, he never asked for a partial shipping refund, he just gave me a negative out of the blue.

I think some people just look for any reason they can possibly come up with to leave a negative

Sorry I rambled on so much about that, it still ticks me off.
  • Problem is that some of this is not that funny and Ebay does not do anything about it!

Back in March I was buying some 1910 hockey cards and the bidding ended early and i got a notice from the seller to pay a certain amount. Well then I got an email from Ebay's Vero program saying they ended it early and that someone reported the seller was not in possision of the cards. Ebay's recommendation was that I not complete the transaction which I followed. I received several emails from the "seller", the last one calling me a "two-faced liar", that my "word was worthless" and I must be a "true American".

This seller relisted the cards two weeks later and when I informed Ebay, they said there was nothing they could do.

This seller is on his 5th id since the first of the year:
    ttteeee44
    thebiiddingstopshere
    d0ncherry
    goodridiance188
    otgoal

have watched him bad mouth and leave negitive feedback to many who I have great respect. I was luckey in that I did not buy and therefore he could not leave any feedback.

    Beware!
  • Buckeye, just to let you know i'm not that guy. he stole my old ebay id (good_riddance188) and used it to harass me.

  • Well looks like ttteeee44 reads these because I just got an email from him. Among other verbage, "That is false and libelous. What happened was that I used an old scan of a baseball card I had used before". That must have been on one of his his other auctions as I was bidding on a hockey card and it was a scan of the card I was bidding on. Also ttteeee44,if you read my message closely, I did not say you didn't have the card, I said Ebay emailed me that someone informed them that you did not have the card. By the way, I have saved all those emails.

Goodriddiance_189, thank you for your support in this issue!
