Thanks guys!,and you're right PAT,I've owned 3 of the 67 certified of this date, and the last one I owned,I sold for around $300 or so.image
Those Morgans look Fantastic! That 84P sure looks GEM, and I love the peripheral color on that 02-O.NICE scores!image

That 84 is sitting in a PCGS 63 holder. I don't know what they were thinking on that one. It is one of a trio of 63s I bought for $120, 82, 83, and 84. The 82 and 83 are pretty typical 63s, but this one, well, someone was just robbed on.

Man, I really debated dipping the AT off that coin to see what it looked like. I can't believe someone AT'ed a coin like that.

Neither can I! As you know when I got it, I could see mirrors under that fugly brown/purple hazed funk that had been applied to it. Now it's white and shiney and pretty darn pretty!

I could see some prooflike fields underneath, but sometimes when you dip off the AT, you find all sorts of problems. I'm glad it worked out for you, and the consignor was happy he was able to sell everything without a lot of hassle. In fact, that roll of 1902-Os on the WINS auction was the last item of his I had for sale.

I saw that and I'm glad the roll sold.
Here's a better image of the coin I got from your friend.

With a cap of fifty bucks, I could show you hundreds of lovely Darkside beauties, but I'll spare you from the Darkness, just this once. image

I could probably come up with one or two nice <$50 Liteside coins, but I don't have most of my stuff scanned.

A recent $28 find. PCGS called it 65, but I thought it might 6.

    Bill,

I love Marianne on the 10c bronze. I've got her on a 16 of the same design (Daniel-Dupuis), but mine's color isn't as nice as yours. I'd love to find one in 65 red. image

From the strange but true file: I bought this one for $39 in February 2002 (already in the holder!) before anybody cared about non-FS Jeffs. Today it's still a pop 1/0 coin.

There's always cheap coins to be found on Ebay that are better looking in hand than their pics.................

When you say "Show off your sub $50 beauties", do you mean coins that are worth less than $50 or coins that were purchased for less than $50?
