The JFS Collection of U.S. Commemoratives, posted yeserday, is now the All-Time Finest silver Commem set ever assembled. In addition to being the highest graded, many of the coins exhibit the most beautiful, vibrant colors. View it on the PCGS Registry.
The set will be offered for sale unreserved, with each coin being a single lot, at Heritage's Pittsburgh ANA Sale, August 2004. Approximately 2-3 weeks before the sale the collection will be on-line and viewable at HeritageCoin.com.
The JFS Collection will be presented in it's own full color catalog. If you have a Registry set with either PCGS or NGC Heritage will send you a complimentary copy of the JFS catalog when it is printed. Just email me at Greg@HeritageGalleries.com.

When I read the rules for creating a resistry set, MY understanding was that this was not allowed.
Was that rule removed??
Market it briefly
Sell it for more $$$ because it has "all time finest pedigree"
Let's see...comes from a Heritage account...has 21 posts. Been a member since 6/01.
So, I guess the only time that account posts is when something is being sold for high $$$?
I agree, belongs in the BST forum.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
So how do I know if the coins in the auction are really from this set, and it's not a bait and switch?
If I buy one of these coins, doesn't that drop it off the All Time List?
As I'd want to register it in my set right away?

The "vibrant colors" are difficult to see without pictures.

But for this statement, I would have concluded that this was another example of a collector assembling and flipping a registry set--using the top registry designation as hype.
Still, it seems like a lot of collectors are deciding to bail right now. Trying to time the market I suppose.

Go for it! My best to all those who try to take on the commems, especially the whole 144 piece set. Quite the accomplishment!
