1971 Topps Baseball Grading Results-- Jack Pot!

I am very pleased with my latest invoice:

558229 Zip 93722

1. Kudos to PSA for the speed on this 50+ common order.

2. These are the best grades I have received on 71s. Submitting, I believed all of the low numbers had chances to get 8s or better. I scored almost 100% on this. On the high numbers, I believed they were all at least 7s or better. Again, almost 100%.

Considering I am putting together a 7 or better set, I have just one "dog" out of this invoice, a lone 6. No qualifiers and 8s abound. I am stoked!

    Matt,

    Here's a link!

Nice job. It's interesting to see that your high #s graded lower. You obviously have a good eye for the set, why the lower grades on these? 1971 Topps is something I haven't touched at all and I'm just curious. In my experience with other sets, raw high #s are generally easier to find in high grade than the earlier series' releases.

Jeb, the reason my highs are lower (sounds like I am coming off an acid trip..... image is that I have already graded out a number of my better condition highs. These are basically my lower condition highs. Again, since I am working on a set of 7 or better, they still fit in nicely. A number are short prints so I am still happy. Crack out the Crayolas and color me Tickled Pink!

I've submitted many '71's and they are the toughest set to figure out, you did real well image ...jay
