i don't think he ever made a deal w/ the cavs in the first place. the cavs wanted to let him become a free agent so they can sign him w/ the MLE instead of what he was making which has to be relatively low being a 2nd round pick. anyway, i think the cavs didn't even need to pay him more in the first place. just let him play another year or however much was left in his contract (i think it was a year) and then sign him to a bigger deal. even if the cavs did make this deal, it was stupid. they didn't need to give him this money. all they had to do was pick up the option and pay him however much it was and wait til next year to give him a bigger contract.

no way man. they're over the cap and probably would've offered more than the MLE in the first place if the had more money.

first off if they can drop big Z they can sign boozer.

Secondly this is no way boozers fault. Paxson made up that deal with boozer crap. Paxon wanted to get boozer out of his bird rights and he did that. But it backfired on him and he is the one to blame.
