How often do you help out

As a cashier or person in the bank i know how we coin people collect for our selves first. but how often do we give others the chance . are you always willing give a wheat a buffalo a silver coin up for a person who asks. what about old bills ( for currency persons) . how often do you add to your own first and all

Saw a wheat cent in the "give a penny-take a penny" tray and left it for the next person. I did check the date though.

I have given away a lot of coins and yes even currency some fractional for friends type set. I was surpised how many people don't know about 3, 5, 10, 15, 25, and 50 cent fractional notes. my kid call them cent bills.

Kids and young adults. They need all the help they can get. About numismatics too.

  • I give away interesting coins frequently. I also show folks things like Silver Eagles, interesting collector-only issues, and the like.

I like to spend 2001 halves and basic silver coins, too.

All the time and to any and all who might be interested. I have a bucket of coins for that purpose.

Welp...Usually they don't get the chance to ask/see it because I've already got it. As a cashier lonnnnnnng ago in a fast food resturant, when I came by silver coinage or wheat backs, they were immediately placed in the ole pocket. No one person had a chance to see it. I'de hear silver coinage being placed in the till from the other room and quickly went to the register and exchanged it for claddage.image
What is money, in reality, but dirty pieces of paper and metal upon which privilege is stamped?

If I see it and I have the opportunity to get it ethically and morally, it's mine.
