Gotta new digital camera and 100 world coin lot today.(more pics added)

Well, I'm just starting to get acquainted with my new camera,so here is my first pic.
These two coins were in a 20 oz silver world coin lot I just received.
I am clueless with world coins,so I don't really know what I have. All coins are pre 1964 all the way back to 1790 or so.I thought this would be a decent start to a Dark Side collection.
I'll post pictures now and again to bug you for identification, hope you don't mind,Looks like I need to invest in a Krause catalog.
Hopefully the pics will improve!

Here is the first pic,and remember I am clueless as to what these are.

    Nice coins, nice pics!
These are Peruvian, a 1 dinero (10 centavos) and a 1/2 dinero, both .900 fine silver and each dated the last year of those types.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.

These are extremely nice condition for a junk silver coin lot. They aren't scarce in such
grades but they are not extremely common by type or grade. They should be worth at
least double melt value at this time. You may have an extremely good mix there.

Most of the lot is in average circulated condition, these two were in flips and are the best condition wise.

That's probably the small date 1 Dinero for that year which my 2003 Krause quotes at $6 Unc, $2 XF, .0723-ASV. Similarly, the 1/2 D quotes at $5 Unc, $2 XF, .0362-ASV. They're definitely worth more than twice their bullion value.image
