Who'd a thunk ten years ago that this card would be sitting at
exactly double the closing price of a nice PSA 8 #563 1960 Mantle All-star. Aint the registry great!

  • I have been collecting 1960's topps baseball for about 6 years, while working on a raw and high end graded set.

The Rivera has always been a tough card to find in nice condition- typically the centering is bad or the card will have snow in the backround.

I'm not suprised by the top dollar that these tough low pop cards are recently bringing on ebay- go try and find another like it and you could be searching for quite a while.

I personally think that the 1960 Topps Curt Simmons is the toughest card in the set and would bring bigger dollars than the Rivera if one came up on ebay in a PSA 8 grade.

I stumble across qualityhorseracing in my searches now and then , I am never bidding on the stuff he likes though but here is one from yesterday.

    51 bowman

is he on the registry , I haven't looked but with what he buys , it would be easy to figure out.

I'm pretty sure it is Don Louchios. He has one of the best graded sportscard collection in the hobby.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • FYI -- His name is Jack and he's in the Dallas Texas area. I know his last name but I don't think it needs to be posted publicly.
