Brewers SWEEP Cubs?

Say it ain't so.....what is this world comming to?

Comments

  • The Cubs just found out that they missed Aramis Ramirez and Todd Hollandsworth (both injured and out) a lot more than they missed Sammy Sosa when he was out.

    Yawie99,

The Cardinals look very good as of late. That I agree with. If it's not the Cubs, I usually root for the Cardinals in the NL.

Let's see what the second half holds.

    Remember these Chuck Norris Facts

    1. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down
    2. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, Chuck Norris can actually roundhouse kick you yesterday
    3. There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris
  • Im more than thankful for the wild card now image. The Cubs have been killed with injuries this year (have not had their projected 1-5 pitchers until tonight and have had 3/4 of their infield out, Sosa and Hollandsworth, and their closer out for near a record number of injuries). Even with this recent slump, they are still within a game of the wild card lead.

I dont really care how they make the playoffs, just so they do. With almost everybody back after the break, there should be a large improvement.

    It should be fun.

Definitely. Wood look sharp today, though it wouldn't surprise me if he or Prior spend another stint on the DL before the end of the year. Regardless, the Cubs should at least be in the wild card race all the way. A Cards-Cubs playoff series would be pretty cool.
