What is this on my Peace $ ????????

Hi all,

I've had this 1922D for a little while now but just noticed this "oddity" last night. Look at the back of Liberty's neck. Please help me in identifying what it is? The back of her neck is the only place on the coin that has this kind of marking. Thanks image

    My 1922-D peace (the only peace I have) has this as well...

    Has to be normal...I pulled out the only peace I have and it has it as well.

    Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.
