Just got my plane tickets for FUN

Yep - 6 months early! I used frequent flyer points, so didn't want to get screwed out of available dates. I've got family less than an hour's drive away so a free place to stay. Can't beat a trip to FUN for FREE!

Anybody else planning on going?

    Since I moved outta Ft Lauderdale, I'm now a 2 1/2 hr drive.

    Looks like I'm gonna fly down there Saturday morning. Not sure if I'm gonna stay Saturday nite and fly back Sunday, or just fly back Saturday evening... image

    Jr G - Fly down for 1 day? Spring for the $50 or split with someone on a hotel and stay and extra day. I'm sure someone would give you a place to stay over.

    I might drive down, but I'm not sure I want to drive all the way to Ft. Lauderdale. Originally, I was going to drive down Wednesday with my Godfather, spend a couple days down there, come back Sunday.... but..... classes start a week and a half before FUN, and I know I'm going to have Friday classes....

    FUN 2005: Jan 13-16 Fort Lauderdale
    FUN 2006: Jan 5-8 Orlando
    FUN 2007: Jan 4-7 Orlando

    The next year will be easier on me, though... only 45 minutes to FUN when it's in Orlando... image Though, I don't know how much I'd be able to get over there...

    Thanks...now, I just have to figure out the CES dates for Las Vegas and hope they don't intersect (may be going to CES for work) as I want to go to both.....

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Darn! Not over Christams break like last year. I'll se if I can convince dad to pull me out of school, but it's not too likely. image
