Yes this is one of Russ' I won this on a giveaway here on the forum. My wife is in the hospital and we need a few things and I was hoping to get a good price for it.
Yes it is listed at a premium not too high though I have seen them sell for around $70 -$80 on the bay. I listed it high because I really do not want to sell it because it is the best coin I have and because I won it here. Ever been stuck between wanting to keep a coin or needing to sell it. That is my dilemma now.
If it sells at $100 we could use the money but I hope it doesn't sell.
I also just sold on the bay most of my sports cards-debating on selling others for the same reason.
Not easy being poor and a collector too, some of you will know what I mean.

OH I forgot to add: Aren't all Accented Hair's made by Russ??
Opening bid is right around this year's average selling price for the coin in PCGS PR68. I'll be damned, checking the serial number, it is one I made. But, the only PR68's I've let go have been giveaways.
Edit: OOPS! That's what I get for answering the phone before hitting the submit button.
Not sure anymore. Marty moved a bunch out recently, and I don't know how many he kept for himself. I'm now down to 33 in my stash, and that'll be down to 25 soon. I've narrowed to keeping only PR68, cameos and deep cameos. I may even narrow that further to just cams and dcams which, right now, would drop it to 15.
Why do you keep so many, Russ? Some must be clear winners, and the others probably get ignored like a red-headed stepchild.
If it were me, I'd keep the highest graded DCAM. and the highest graded brilliant in the stash. Then, I'd probably want to put together a grading set, too...so I'd keep the nicest of each of the lower graded brilliants, CAMs, and DCAMs. Then, there are the brithmark coins, a few other favorites...
So you see Russ, when you add it up, you probably don't really need to keep more than about 20-25 or so
<< <i> Actually, Marty has made more than I. But, between the two of us, we account for about 20% of the total PCGS grading backlog in economy.

Ah, now I understand!
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
