That may be looked upon as bargain in a year or two. The coin is a true rare modern variety. I'd love to list my 92d Close AM with starting bid of 5k but am waiting for the new Cherry pickers guide which should list it......so it may be years

You would be waiting for a fifth edition to list a new cent variety. That could be decades. Everyone else is still waiting for the fourth edition to be completed.

To bring this somewhat back on topic: can someone briefly recap these varieties? Which dates are known, which ones are rare and which are common? Thanks,

Seanq, by all appearances the 2000 Ty2 is fairly common, the 1998 is less common and the 1999 appears to be rare. I posted my theory on the 1999's rarity in a previous thread a few weeks ago. Don't know how to link it, but look for it, contains a lot of good info, IMHO.
