What would you grade these?

I was perusing this mid-grade 1954 Topps baseball set on e-bay and after viewing some of the PSA 5 examples, I started feeling a little more optimistic about some of the raw stars I have in my mid-grade 1958 Topps set that I thought might be EX, but to be honest, wasn't sure. But I could be wrong.
What I'm trying to say, and I'm not by any means questioning or bashing the grade that's been assigned to many of these cards, is that I’m just trying to learn more about the grading process. Sometimes I think I may grade my own (older cards) a little too conservatively. Is there a little more leniency given when grading 50s cards?
I was also wondering, if I could enlist the expertise of my fellow collectors (no fighting or eye poking please). If I posted some scans from some of my raw 58 stars, would you take a guess as to what the PSA grade might be if I choose to send them in? I have a rough idea, but I'm really curious to see if what I'd give them equals what everyone else thinks they would grade.

EDITED: Here's the link to the '54 set I'm referring to and some of the PSA 5 cards in it that got me thinking:

Thanks in advance.imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

Your own 54s aren't posted correctly. Nothing to see or click on.
  • Are my 58's showing up? Cuz they are on my computer. As for the 54's, I was referencing a set that's on ebay. imageimage

elway - put them on something where they are permanently viewable. Or just attach the pictures rather than inserting them.
