I would imagine it's not the only one that was put into something and "buried" at some point in time. Never thought about just digging up the yard to find cards.

The best bet would still be grandpa's attic. However, I do remember reading somewhere (was it here?) about a kid who, in 1960, dropped his Yaz rookie down a window slot in his dad's car, and who always wondered whatever happened to it.
So there literally could be such treasures ANYWHERE.
Did someone say there's buried treasure in Canada?
