Vintage Basketball Card Dinner @ The National

Its that time of the year again and I find myself organizing a dinner for the vintage basketball card collectors (or anyone that isn't bored to death by vintage basketball card talk).

Since we are in Cleveland ... there is only one place to eat dinner ... The Great Lakes Brewery. And yes, we are going on a tour of the Brewery. And yes, I'm buying a round of Dortmunder Gold (deal with it). For those of you that don't know Great Lakes ... you don't know one of the best domestic beers in the U.S. For years, companies have been hounding Great Lakes to distribute beyond the boarders of Ohio. For years, the makers have said they don't want to do it ... as quality would be compensated.

Anyway let's get back on track.

The dinner will be Wednesday Night at roughly 8pm.

If you would like to go, please send me an email with your name and cell phone number. Last year we had something like 12/13 people at the dinner. I'm hoping to get more than 15 people because then I will rent out the Rockefeller Room. Expect dinner and a sampler to be about $40.

Jeff, I wish I could make it but I will not be arriving until thursday. It would be cool to chat BSK with ya. Us basketball collectors are a rarity.

    Anyway, have fun!
