The Jet Black morgan is a 1898-o in a MS62 condition. I sprinkled Sulfer powder on it and put it in the oven turning it a very - very smooth looking jet black.
The Redish looking Morgan is a 1881-s that really looks like a red lava rock. It has a very slight bend to it, mayby a fraction of a millimeter, I could only tell when I placed it in the airtight, but it does fit nicely into the air-tight. This toning was from a Magnesium explosion. Very dangerous........
I don't see anything wrong. He's saying what he did up front and some people want something like this to put in bezels to sell as jewelry. If they are bought and resold as such and no hidden agendas, so what. I'd kind of like to see him do the magnisium explosion trick.
Well, the seller was honest so I have no issue here. Although I can bet it'll be resold soon without the history. Thankfully they are all ugly so I doubt it will ever get much money. Only worth melt anyway.

If you did dip it off the surfaces underneath would be dead as in no luster.
