More showin' & crowin' - another holiday weekend arrival, a clipped 1837 Large Cent.
There's also a neat die crack on the reverse through AMERICA and the wreath over to the UN of UNITED. I think this is the "Plain Cord, Large Letters" variety, but all I know about large cents you could fit on the back of an envelope. Definitely uncirculated, but with some (staple?) scratches on the cheek and a few field nicks on the reverse. The color is also a little strange and speckled, so this one probably took a bath a long time ago and retoned.
Almost forgot the best part - I purchased it off-eBay for less than XF Trends.

Incomplete planchets wanted, especially Lincoln Cents & type coins.
