Ok all......I recently purchased a case of UD Exquisite (I have to.....I got a really good deal). I have had it for about 2 weeks now debating if I should open it or sell it, and thoughts? I wanted to check the market and after reading all the horror stories it seems like there is no chance in hell you are getting your money back if you crack them....what do you guys think?

If you can afford it, do it. You'll at least have fun. Everbody would want to know what you get. Good luck!

wait then you might lose out. I would open until you make a big hit and then sell what is left.
Good Luck

Personally, if I bought the case, I would bust one box like Roach said. If you hit something big then stop, otherwise bust the others, but that is me. When I buy something, I don't like to sit around and keep it sealed, I am going to bust it open.
The Logo Man 1/1 IS IN YOUR CASE!!! I can sense it....
Just picture getting an email titled "Thank You" from the person who buys it from you. Inside, the email states that they pulled the 1/1 Logo Man Lebron/Jordan, or a nice Lebron Auto/23. Or a Jordan Auto/23. There are other good cards that haven't surfaced.

What happens if he opens the first box, gets nothing, and the same for the second box? I have seen some pretty weak box breaks, but there seems to be one "money" card per case.

<< <i>Yeah, open them until you find the "hot" box, then sell the cold depleted boxes to unknowing suckers on eBay. Great advice.

Yeah, get real. I even bought one off Ebay. Like I said, there is no written guarantee anywhere on the boxes that states that there is "only one big $$$ card in each case", but that's the way it looks. I have seen case break results on the Beckett Boards that did indeed have 2 or 3 big cards in a case, but it's not too often. It's very possible to get a Lebron or Melo RC Patch/Auto in one box, and then pull a big insert in another box. When stores watch a huge card ( maybe a case card for example ) get pulled out of a pack, should they feel obligated to pull the rest off the shelves? That would be ridiculous thinking. I do see what you are saying Allen, but it's not commonplace. What if a fresh box was opened in a store, you bought one pack and pulled the case card? Would you buy the rest of the packs? Would you suggest to the owner of the shop that they put some kind of not on the box stating that the case card was already pulled? Would you even suggest it? Nah. There may be stated odds, but nobody really knows what is inside each sealed box at any time. Odds schmodds. If he sold the other 2 boxes, he'd just be selling dreams like Upper Deck sold to us in the first place. Supply and Demand.

Right on target! Unless UD or God comes down and tells us, all evidence on the theory of hot packs in a case of three is strictly anecdotal IMO.

I can't believe that you haven't busted this stuff already! Hey do you live in North Carolina?
