    Yes, espeically this one in particular. Many of the other medals are known to have aftercasts made of them using some of the original molds. This Lusitania is a Briitish copy evident by the size (real Goetz medal is 58mm), the English spelling of "May" instead of the German "Mai", and the telltale left eye of the skeleton...see how large and misplaced it is? Perhaps the person selling isn't aware that it is a replica but I doubt it.

    I just sold another copy of the same medal on eBay last week. I posted the attached thread in this forum. I think if the guy selling this one had done a bit better job of attribution, he would get a higher price for his medal.
