I am not sure about this guy but he is making my auction look like a shill. Do you think it will make other bidders think twice about bidding? Should I just cancel this guys bid? What should I do?

Another ebay user named WalterScott does the same thing except on Ike Dollars.

He probably bid around $36 and what it looks like shouldn't matter. That is part of the Ebay process, if you cancel his bid he may be planning to bid again higher and you will run him off. That is my view of it.

If he worries you just put him on your blocked bidder list. This will preserve the bids he has already made (as not to drop the price) BUT will keep him from winning the item.

I agree. This is a newbie who doesn't know what he is doing. Looks like he was trying to get ahead of Huntwildboars by only increasing his bid a dollar at a time.

I have never had a problem with Walter and he does pay fast but he has the same bid technique where he will bid a couple of time a day everyday. I find it funny when he bids on something I am selling but it really made me mad when he was bidding on an Ike I wanted and bid high on. I won it but I paid my top price for it when I could have paid alot less.

LOL...He has single-handidly raised the prices of Ikes on Ebay. I don't even bid against him...(I guess I have just realized that ALL Ikes are his!)

No it don't look like a shill. It looks like a newbie bidding 1 increment @ a time. I'm not a newbie but sometimes I'll play around & bid every day till I'm high bidder or 1 incremnent @ a time but I have never bid 36 times on 1 auction. geesh!
