Totally Frustrated with Image Hosting Site

ajiaajia Posts: 5,403 ✭✭✭
I've been a 'member' of an image hosting site for about a month...Photobucket.com...that went down early in my second round eBay auctions. After a day they were back up & running.
They went down again today....the day my auctions close!! AAAHHHHHimageimage

I'm tempted on cancelling the auctions if the site is not up SOON

What hosting service do you use when selling coins on eBay?

I load my pics straight from my computer to Ebay!

Yeah, I just pay the 10 cents for every extra picture, and have EBay host it... *shrug* No biggie, considering I only need 2 pics... Obverse and Reverse... one's free, the other's 10 cents... oh no... big loss there...

I rent server space to host all of my pictures and files that I like to be able to drag down wherever I'm at.

Heck, its only 8 bucks a month and you get a domain name and nice quick downloading times. I don't just use it for ebay. If I did, it'd be a waste of money.

I like them and you can upload images up to 350kb onto e-bay, you can even lauch ebay auctions directly from them. I think you pay 5 cents per image

eBay has a new (I think?) feature you can download for free that allows you to upload pictures up to 600kb, whereas before it was only 50kb. Not too bad.

    www.applepics.com
Despite the name, they're not related to Apple computer. Absolute best, fastest, most reliable site I've found, 2 Meg max size, and they allow hotlinking (heck, they specifically designed the site to host eBay pics).

I've found most of these image hosting companies unreliable. Anyone remember PhotoPoint? For $5 a month, you can get your own webspace and host anything. Here is one service, the 333mb plan will be more than anyone needs for this purpose:

I just host my pictures myself, no problem. I try to be up all the time.
