1901-S Barber Half is appropriately graded? The pic is kind a small but please give me your grading opinion.

NGC's pretty darn good on circulated stuff (and MS stuff, too, BTW)... the monitor I'm on right now sucks, but it probably grades ok--I can't see LIBERTY, but the resolution isn't good enough to see it.

I don't know if this is common knowledge, but if you're running XP you can save the scan to Windows Picture Viewer and use that zoom function. I don't know how to add a scan to this reply unless the scan has an url.

The coin looks closer to VF 20 than to VF 25. Still a nice coin regardless.

I'd call it VF20 (though the photos leave a lot to be desired)...but it does appear to be original, a major plus for this much cleaned series. The very slight percentage that it is off center is probably an insignificant factor so far a valuation is concerned.

I really doubt that the LIBERTY is complete and comparing to this 01-s below still looks no higher than F18 IMO:

I still don't think it deserves VF25. More line with F15 and maybe F18 the most.
