It wasn't a snipe, but a quick BIN. I've yet to see one graded this high. Attractive issue, I think.

It grades 69UCAM in NGC's new label holder. Worth a shot. It's nicer that the PCGS PR68 DCAM I currently have.

Yesterday sniped 7 hens, a rooster, 14 guineas, 6 ducks, 7 wild turkeys.

These obiously are not THE double dies of the series but they are the ones that show better separation than most. Not bad for $12.50 each tho. I will still have to see what they look like in person and to look for die marks to classify them better. Both were bid early so no real snipe here. But not a bad buy either.

with 4 minutes left in the auction. A very nice upgrade from my

Mine wasn't really a snipe.... more just due to a lack of bidders. A beautiful gem BU set of Jeffersons 1938 to 1964 PDS in a capitol holder. Advertised by a trusted seller to have some good full steps. Looked like a set that came from a private collection, and not just 'thrown' together.

Also, picked up a nice toned 1946-D BTW commem NGC MS66.
