1893-S Morgan in PCI holder

These are pictures of the coin I posted about yesterday. I took it to my local dealer yesterday and he feels that it is genuine. I did not buy it from him so he has no reason not to tell me what he really thinks. Your opinions? Thanks.

The pictures were there when I did the preview and were still there when I looked after I posted them. What happened?

and the pictures are there now - but they are far too small to tell whether the coin is genuine....and these are commonly faked by adding mintmarks to much more common coins.

When checking to see if a coin is genuine, a magnified scan of both the mintmark and date are required. I can't tell with just a scan of the whole coin.

I also had that prob. I'm a newb and for some reason wasn't able to get my pics uploaded the easy way either. Way I did it...after uploading your pics click on the little picture icon with the mountain, then enter http://forums.collectors.com//attachments/ followed by the name of the pic you uploaded and the format .tiff/.jpeg etc.

Welcome aboard newbie. You will find opinions around here on grades are freely given, and not infrequently new meaning is given to the term BASHful. I always like to look at 1893-s morgans. Your Xs, however, suck.
