Hi Guys, My family and I are going on vacation soon to Wildwood, New Jersey. Are there any good card shops or even a card show in the area of Wildwood? Let me know, Neil

Isn't Wildwood the place that Darryl Hannah disses in "Wall Street"?

Charlie Sheen (looking at a painting and expressing shock at its price): "You could buy a whole beach house for that!"
Darryl Hannah (sarcastically): "Sure you could. In Wildwood, NJ."

Never been there myself, but place names in movies stick with me.

many drunken indescretions come to mind from my late teens and early 20's but other than that it's all a blur.
  • childwood, it truly is. Don't get caught on the boardwalk from around 7:30 on the teenage morons are unbearablely stupid

I've never been to Wildwood, but the last time I went to Seaside Heights (6-7 years ago) It dawned on me that I was the oldest one on the boardwalk at night. Way too many punks for me...jay

    Jay,

This weekend at Seaside Heights, Jordan Knight (New Kids on the Block fame) and Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock are performing. For those of us 25-34, it's like reliving our childhood.image

I don't know about card shops, but get some Curley's Fries and Kohr Bros Frozen Custard. image

    Then, a Pepto Bismol. image

Heck, you might as well stop off in Ocean City for a couple slices of Mack and Manco's on your way down there image.

Mack's is good stuff (they are in Wildwood too, several of them). Wash it down with a big lemonade...what is it with the lemonade there? They put a pound of sugar in every cup, but it tastes real good - image

I believe you are speaking of Curly's lemonade. The vinegar french fries aren't too bad either.

Yes indeed, Tom. Curley's fries, and a big jug of Curley's lemonade...man, this thread is making me hungry!
