Opinions on The Pit

I've never purchased from The Pit before. Just wondering what kind of experiences everyone has had. I don't like the fact that you can't see the actual card before you buy.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

    Before I got into vintage I bought a few cards there, they ship very quick. It is like a stock market for cards although they only deal in modern cards you can find some reasonably priced stuff. Definately worth a shot. The neat thing about it is you can buy a card and have them hold it for you and you can resell it for a profit if the "market" for the card goes up.
