16 innings, Tejada finally drove in Newhan (one of the biggeest surprises of the year) to win 7-6.

    It was the longest game (time-wise) in Orioles history. Their beleagured bullpen didn't give up a run in 15 innings (Thome 0 for 8 with 5 K's!). With the Yankees losing, the Orioles even picked up a game in the standings (ha ha)...............

    I listened to the whole damn thing on the web ... what a cruddy way to end a game on fireworks night. Sigh ...
