What coin means the most to you and why?

Mine is a raw 1881 $10 gold eagle that is probably AU. I got her after my father passed away. It also belonged to his parents. She's not worth much in terms of dollars, but is priceless to me.

I have some gold pieces that were my grandfather's. He died in 1981. I wouldn't trade them for anything.
  • Well Goose3, I guess people are what are most important in life. image

My 1884-CC Morgan. It was my pop's. Of all the cracked out GSA Morgans & the PCGS graded ones, this is the only one that didn't get sold because it was his.image

I found a 1924 d Lincoln when I was about 14 (I am 51 now) and had just started collecting. Its border G-AG, But all my friends then were envious and it brought me great pride and spurred me to "keep searching" As I continue to upgrade those Lincolns, that one will stay in the Cap board so that it will "Stand out"

  • I have an ungraded unslabbed 1883-S Morgan Dollar that I picked up at the Long Beach coin and stamp show in 2001 to commemorate my nephew who lived with me from age 3 to 18 he passed away in 2001.

His birthday was 01-08-1983 and like me his last name was Smith

  • Mine is a 1967 SMS Kennedy, it is curently in for grading it should come back as MS-62DCAM (the coin is pretty marked up) I love it because it will (hopefully) be my first DCAM SMS coin and of course because its a Kennedy.
