An excellent Lincoln Memorial With Varieties set

I'm not sure if Mr. Ehreth frequents these message boards, but I think congratulations are in order for the FINE Memorial set that he has posted. His set is the current #1 and all-time #3, and is only the third set registered to date to be at least 99% complete (missing only the ultra-key 1969-S DDO). The varieties are all well represented; with every coin full red and at least MS64RD if not better, and including a Gem 1971 DDO (pop4/0). The basic set component is also very strong, with 9 MS69RD and 31 MS68RD specimens from 1982-date and an impressive 32 examples grading MS67RD over the copper portion of the series (including a solid MS67RD run from 1974 to 1981). This is a set that is certainly worthy of its #1 rank, and if it continues to grow and improve, may become very difficult to beat.

The Ehreth Collection #8

So anyone know hat happened to the 69-S DDO MS65RD that use to be in Roger's set? No longer in the pop report. Since it is gone I guess no one will ever be able to beat the #1 all time
  • I've been in contact with Jeff. His sets are very nice. He registered his sets recently but has not checked out the forums yet. I told him a little about this place and suggestes he stop by. Joe

Wow! There are a lot of very tough coins in this set. The '74 to '80 run is especially impressive.
