PowerSeller follies

EBay doesn't even require their Power Sellers to maintain the 98% feedback they claim to.
Power Seller discountcardz now is down to 97.6% positive feedback, and of their total feedbacks for the past month (not unique users), about 5% of those are negative. Even many of the positives note that he often takes 3 to 4 weeks after being paid via money order to ship. He doesn't take PayPal. It looks like he simply can't handle his volume of business effectively (over 2000 auctions at a time, chiefly for modern cards at a few dollars or less each).

I'm now dealing with a situation with him where I paid him a couple weeks ago for 10 auctions, and he has relisted all of them. I emailed him and requested his user info, and left a telephone message for him.

The auctions all end tonight. I have a feeling that he is not going to cancel them.

Here's the question: Should I leave negative or neutral feedback even if I get my money back?

  • Well lets put it this way. The way I look at it i'm tired of people not leaving negs for negative experiences. Ask yourself if the experience with the seller was Negative, Neutral, or Positive and leave feedback accordingly. IMO I would leave a Neg simply for the no contact, the hassle and the fact that you didn't get the auctions you won. You can also file a non selling seller report on ebay.
  • I put a post up a month or so ago asking if anyone had had dealings with this jacka$$. He consistently doesn't anwser emails or phone callsand is always late. I made the mistake of bidding before seeing his feedback. Never again. I sent emails to EBay concerning this guy and you can see nothing has been done. Once again......Don't deal with this guy

Edited to say: Now that I said that i went back and looked and can't find the post but I know I have asked this question. My buddy and I both have had issues with this guy. I got my cards three months later. My buddy never did.

I can deal with slow shipping. The cards aren't expensive, and are for my personal collection (and included #ed rookies of a player I focus on). Having my cards resold after I paid for them is something else entirely. image
